Loretto Magazine stories celebrate Loretto people, places, events!
Posted on July 10, 2023, by Loretto Community

The joy of writing in a magazine about people and places and stories of old is an act of love. It is creative and challenging. It is communicative of a message that is often beloved to its readers. That is what Loretto Magazine is for all of Loretto. And we hope for all its readers, too.
Writing in the magazine is a “labor of love.” Authors get to tell the stories as if they were going on a road trip through Loretto history – whether it be a story about the Motherhouse residents or a feature about mission work or one of our Loretto schools. The stories you can read in Loretto Magazine will make you want to drive the windy roads of Kentucky, take a trip into the Colorado mountains, find the Loretto Chapel in the midst of Santa Fe, visit our Sisters in Pakistan or venture into the streets of Central America.
Loretto Magazine authors capture through their unique lens the threads that tie us together. Their stories reveal how people, places and events celebrate the love for Loretto that all members share and want to share with our readers.
This week on Loretto’s Facebook page we will highlight some of the stories appearing in the latest issue of Loretto Magazine. We invite you to pay attention! Read on! Every page is a new adventure. Walk the pages of the Loretto stories with us. You won’t find them anywhere but here.
